The flame stitch

They say that in Florence, in the halls of the Bargello palace, embroiderers invented a zigzag stitch they called the flame stitch. Bargello carries on its rhythm: close chevrons rising and falling like waves, mixing blue, orange, red, green and sand in a joyful cadence.
