Their pieces are inspired by the Wilton rug, a type of woven textile developed in 18th century England, which uses a single backing woven around the pile yarn. This blurring of boundaries is particularly suited to a series of works that can be used as floor pieces or wall decorations, with no distinction between the two uses.
